TempTest 2 smart thermometers incorporate a permanently attached hand held, stainless steel food penetration probe (Ø3.3 x 100 mm) and a 500 mm PVC lead. It has a large, easy to read 360° rotating, digital display, which makes the ideal for both right and left-handed users. No matter you hold it, the display will always be the right way up!
The TempTest gives precise reading within the range of -49.9 to 299.9°C with a 0.1 °C/°F resolution and an accuracy of ±0.4 °C (-49.9 to 199.9 °C). The device features an auto power-off function after ten minutes of no use which, maximises the battery life. This feature can also be disabled.
The case is waterproof with an ergonomic rubber seal, which include the 'Biomaster' additive to reduce bacterial growth. The temperature of a product can be read in just three seconds which make this one of the fastest devises of this kind.
The TempTest 2 is available with two additional probes; surface or air. The fast response air probe is an invaluable tool for establishing the correct air temperature quickly in refrigeration units, storage areas and other similar applications.
