Microprocessor Thermometer with Automatic Calibration
The MicroTherma 1 microprocessor thermometer measures temperature in the range of -270 to 1768°C with a 0.1°C resolution within the entire range. Each MicroTherma 1 thermometer incorporates an easy-to-read, custom 4½-digit dual LCD display with an open circuit, low battery, hold, max/min and °C/°F indicators.
The thermometer will never need re-calibration since the built-in microprocessor enables the instrument to continuously and automatically performs self-diagnostic and re-calibration. There is an additional feature which allows for reading adjustments (±2.5°C) to compensate for any probe errors, correcting any inaccuracies of the thermocouple probe. Each thermometer automatically stores, displays the offset and adjusts the instrument for the known probe errors, maximising system accuracy.
The MicroTherma 1 accepts any type K, J, T, R, N, S or E thermocouple probe. The probe type is selected through the mode button. The unit incorporates max and min readings with a reset function, and also features an auto-power off function after 30 seconds of no use, which maximises the battery life. This function can be disabled if not required. Other user - selectable settings include display contrast and internal CJC temperature reading.
