One of the outstanding features of the Precision thermometers is their high accuracy. The Precision Plus model measures temperature in the range of -199.99°C to 199.99°C with a resolution of 0.01°C and an accuracy of ±0.05°C.
The on/off, max/ min and display-hold buttons are located on the front of the instrument.
The Precision Plus thermometer features a large, easy-to-read, LCD display with open circuit 'Err' and a low battery indicator. Each thermometer is powered by three 1.5 volt AAA batteries that ensure a minimum of 2000 hours battery life. The devices have an auto power-off function after ten minutes of no use, that maximises the battery life. This feature can be disabled by the user, if required.
