This chicken feeder comes in the shape of a hopper with a capacity of 10 kg.
The difference between it and other feeders is the mechanical opening system; where the bird opens by itself when accessing the feeder.
The feeder features a removable top lid with a handle, convenient for filling.
It is made of riveted galvanized metal with a very nice finish featuring rounded edges to prevent possible injury.
The mesh safety pedal ensures complete direct inaccessibility of the food. If the animal does not have the minimum required weight when climbing the pedal of the hopper, it will not be able to open it and will not have access to the food. This eliminates the food's access to mice, rats, other rodents, or unwanted birds.
The feeder is not suitable for use when keeping turkeys, geese or similar animals.
It is also available with a capacity of 5, 20 and 40 kg.
