The Baracaldo rabbit cages are the best for use in a domestic environment or in large farms where rabbits are reared commercially. It is perfectly suited for rabbit fattening since it allows for close monitoring of the rabbits and maintaining a clean environment and proper records.
Rabbits need to grow in a clean environment that allows for close monitoring to ensure that they are well taken care of and that they are able to attain proper health and weight especially for commercial farms.
The Baracaldo model has two compartments which are 500mm by 620mm by 360mm in size. This allows room for the rabbit to move around, but also ensures it doesn’t utilize too much of its energy doing so, rather it channels the energy to growth. Each of the compartments is equipped with feeding and drinking equipment that are necessary for raising rabbits in a comfortable environment.
The body is made of a strong and rigid metallic mesh that is placed on 4 stable legs which are of a proper height to keep it off the ground away from predators and to allow proper monitoring of the rabbits. The floor of the cage is made of corrosion-resistant plastic which also offers additional comfort for the rabbits and keeps them away from the cold.
The metal feeders that are made of stainless steel corrosion resistance and cannot be chewed or gnawed on by rabbits for other domestic rodents. They have 2 feed holes each which support the proper feeding of rabbits with hay or alfalfa. The Gaun bottle drinkers offer constant supply of clean water for the rabbits.
