This feed manger can successfully be used to feed multiple sheep or goats in small farms or households.
It is made of galvanized sheet metal which ensures it serves for a long time without experiencing wear due to rust and corrosion. It can also withstand blows from large animals and male breeds which ensures at it lasts for an extended period of time.
It has a metallic galvanized wire mesh grid in the feeding area that serves to keep the feed from being scattered by the animals which leads to wastage.
The feed, whether it's hay, straw, alfalfa, is stored between the sticks which prevents the animals from climbing and soiling the food or throwing it on the ground.
It has an added top cover that prevents food from getting wet and this can also allow you to position the feeder outside or in close proximity to the animals. This helps in saving space in the shelter where the animals sleep.
The manger is mounted on sturdy legs, the front of which are angled to provide extra stability to the container. This keeps it away from pests that can easily ruin the feed.
The lower part of the manger is shaped like a collection tray which helps to avoid wastage of feed.
