The RayTemp 2 is a non-contact infrared thermometer with a temperature range of - 49.9 to 349.9°C, a resolution of 0.1 °C or 1 °C and a guaranteed accuracy of ±1°C within the range of 0 to 100°C.
The device incorporates a 5:1 optic ratio (target distance/diameter ratio) and default emissivity of 0.95 which makes it suitable for temperature readings of different types of food and for application in industry.
RayTemp® 2 features a three-button keypad, incorporating measure, mode and max/min functions. The mode button allows the user to select between °C/°F, to adjust emissivity values and to check the ambient temperature. The max/min function displays the highest and lowest recorded temperatures over the measurement period.
The device has an easy-to-read LCD display a with low battery indicator and an auto-power off function after 30 seconds of no use, which maximises the battery life.
