This manual refractometer is made for measuring the freezing point of antifreeze with ethylene glycol from -50°C to 0°C. It also measures antifreeze with propylene glycol from -50°C to 10°C.
These measurements are performed with automatic temperature compensation (ATC) in the range from 10°C to 30°C.
To use it, simply clean the prism using a soft damp cloth and then place 2-3 drops of the sample on the prism. Point the refractometer in the direction of the light source and perform focus correction. Thereafter read the results.
