The Espacio nesting box is recommended for female rabbits and rodents when they get to the nesting stage. Rabbits and rodents need a safe space when they are nesting to ensure the take good care off the offspring and bring them to maturity.
This nesting box is made of galvanized sheet metal which makes it very durable since it is corrosion resistant and cannot be nibbled on by the rabbits. This nesting box is designed to attach to the cage using hooks that are found on the upper part of the housing as well as a clip that is found in the middle of the box.
The nesting box has an access hole on the side for the rabbit to use to access the inside. The opening has a diameter of 16cm and can be placed on the right or the left side off the cage according to your liking and preference.
The lid on top of the box opens up using a hinge mechanism to allow for proper checkup and observation of the little bunnies. The floor of the box is made of a wooden table to insulate from the cold and guarantees sufficient warm for the young ones to grow without health complications.
