•The device is supplied with type K thermocouple for temperature measurement of up to 1000° C. If the probe does not connect it only measures the ambient temperature.

•It is powered by 4 x 1.5V AA batteries which are not included in the package.
•It has an automatic shutdown feature to save on battery power.
