The PM2018S is a smart meter that automatically selects most functions and modes.
It automatically detects voltage, current and resistance and automatically selects a range.
It measures AC/DC voltage and AC current, resistance and frequency.
The clamps have a two-line display which makes it possible to display for example, the frequency while measuring the alternating current or to visualize voltage or resistance while measuring the current.
Some other key features include:
•It has a non-contact detection of live conductors (NCV). This detector increases safety because it informs you of dangerous voltage without the need to touch anything.
•It has a peak max function which can actually accurately capture 1ms current pulse thereby more accurately capturing the maximum current.
•It has a two line display with 6000 display options.
•It has an LPF function which filters out high frequency interference while measuring an AC signal so as to increase the accuracy of the signal measurement.
•It has a circuit tester with sound.
•It is powered by 2 AAA batteries which are not included in the package.
•It automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity to save on battery power.
