Overview
A 4500 watt generator fuelled by LPG. It suits a household or a business that already keeps gas cylinders on site and would rather not store petrol, or a set that stands unused for long stretches and is then expected to start on the day the power goes.
Fuel is the real argument for gas. Petrol left in a tank for months goes stale, gums up a carburettor and is the single most common reason a standby generator will not start when it is finally needed. LPG in a cylinder keeps indefinitely, burns cleaner, leaves less carbon on the plug and in the oil, and there is no fuel to spill or siphon. Against that, you need a cylinder connected and a regulator set up correctly, and swapping an empty cylinder mid cut is a job someone has to be able to do in the dark. At 4500 watts the set covers lights, a fridge, a freezer, screens, chargers and a modest pump.

Questions and answers
Does it come with a gas cylinder?
No. The cylinder, regulator and hose are separate. Talk to us about what is needed before you order so nothing is missing on delivery.
Why gas instead of petrol?
Petrol goes stale in a tank and gums the carburettor, which is why standby sets often fail to start. LPG keeps indefinitely in the cylinder and burns cleaner.
How do I order and receive it?
