Overview

This hopper is made of galvanized metal, which is very durable and intended for feeding free-range chickens in open areas.

With a length of 56 cm and a width of 36 cm, it takes about 5 kg of feed and is recommended for all poultry, including ducks, geese, pheasants, partridges, etc.

It is easily opened using a pedal system, which gives access to the food only when the bird exerts weight on the platform (about 500g).

As soon as the bird leaves, it closes again. This avoids the food from being wasted or eaten by other birds or animals such as rats. This further prevents the access of unwanted animal pests and accordingly increases the hygiene of your farm.

The pedal opening is a smart solution that favors the natural feeding behavior of your hens, allowing them access to their food only when they are hungry.
