Overview
This rectangular metal hopper-feeder is made of galvanized sheet steel with rounded edges and riveted assembly.
The metal construction guarantees a long service life.
The indented large container holds 20 kg of feed and saves frequent filling.
It is suitable for hens, small chickens, and other small birds, such as partridges and quails, but not for large species.
This bird feeder features a mechanically pressurized opening system. When the hen is the right weight and gets on the step, the feeder is activated. Thus, other unwanted species, rodents, or other bird species do not have access to the food. On the other hand, this ensures the necessary sanitary and hygienic norms for rearing in poultry farms.
Filling is done from above with an easy-to-open removable cover, and the foot is designed as a grid for better stability of the bird when it is in the feeder.
It is also available with a capacity of 5, 10 and 40 kg.
