Brooder Heat Plate For Poultry, Plastic, Adjustable

Brooder Heat Plate is a modern poultry-brooding device designed to provide safe and consistent warmth for newly hatched chicks, ducklings, and other young poultry during their early growth stage. The heating plate produces gentle radiant heat from its underside, allowing chicks to gather underneath the plate and stay warm just as they would under a mother hen.

It creates a localized warm area where chicks can move in and out depending on their comfort level. This helps chicks regulate their own body temperature naturally and reduces stress during the brooding period.

The unit is typically constructed with a durable plastic housing and a heating element inside, supported by adjustable legs that allow farmers to raise or lower the plate as the chicks grow. By adjusting the height, the plate can remain close to the chicks’ backs, ensuring they receive adequate warmth while still having space to move freely.

It is widely used in poultry farms, hatcheries, and backyard chicken setups because it is energy-efficient, safer than heat lamps, and easy to install and maintain. It consumes far less electricity compared to traditional brooding bulbs while providing consistent warmth needed for healthy chick development during the first few weeks of life.
