Overview
The ThermoPro TP16 Digital Food Thermometer allows you to monitor food temperature without repeatedly opening the oven, grill or smoker. The stainless-steel probe is inserted into the food while the main display unit remains outside the cooking area, allowing the temperature to be monitored continuously.
It features a food-grade stainless-steel probe connected to a long stainless-steel mesh cable. The probe is approximately 6–6.5 inches long, while the cable is approximately 40 inches, providing sufficient length for use with most domestic ovens, grills and smokers. The probe and cable are designed to tolerate high temperatures, with the probe assembly rated up to approximately 380°C (716°F).
It features a programmable temperature alarm. Users can select a preset temperature for different types of food or manually set a desired temperature. Once the target temperature is reached, the thermometer provides an alert, helping reduce the need for constant checking.
The thermometer also incorporates a 99-hour 59-minute countdown and count-up timer, making it useful for monitoring both cooking temperature and cooking duration.
