Overview
A pressure washer that will not build pressure, or that sprays from the middle of the hose, is usually not a broken machine. It is a broken hose. The hose is the one part of the set that gets dragged across gravel, kinked at the gun, stood on, driven over in a yard and left coiled in the sun, and it takes the full working pressure every time you pull the trigger.
This is the replacement hose for the SPW-1400. Because it is the part made for that machine, the fittings at both ends match the pump outlet and the trigger gun, so there is no adaptor in the line and no joint to weep. Replacing the hose costs a fraction of replacing a washer, and it brings a machine that has been standing in a store for a year back into use in a couple of minutes. It is worth keeping one on the shelf if the washer is used for work rather than occasionally at home.

Can I repair a split hose instead?
No. A patched high pressure hose fails again under load, and a pinhole jet at working pressure is strong enough to cut skin. Replace it.
