Overview
Thermapen® infrared thermometer is a two-in-one device – a RayTemp 2 Plus infrared thermometer and a digital probe thermometer.
The case is made of robust ABS plastic which contains "Biomaster" anti-bacterial additive to reduce bacterial growth.
The thermometer features a patented 360° auto-rotating display. It indicates temperature in the range of -49.9 to 349.9°C. You simply point the infrared thermometer at the target and press the scan button to display the surface temperature. This function is only available when the probe is closed.
The device has a target ratio of 5:1, so the thermometer should be positioned as close to the target as possible for accurate readings.
The penetration probe indicates temperature in the range of -49.9 to 299.9°C, giving the possibility the temperature in the core of a given product to be measured.
The thermometer features a motion-sensing sleep-mode which automatically turns the instrument on/off.
