Overview
The PM8248S multimeter has high accuracy and multiple capabilities. It measures AC/DC currents and voltages, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature and gain of transistors. The current and voltage variables are measured with an exact effective value (True-RMS). It can also detect live wires with non-contact voltage detector (NCV). The distance to this wire can be judged by the volume of the sound produced by the multimeter and an LED signaling. It has a flashlight to allow working in dark areas. It also has a circuit tester and can be used both professionally and at home by craftsmen. The device has a supported the back that's allows it to be placed or not flat surface or tabletop for ease of viewing. It has automatic range selection and the mood selection is done with the SEL button. Despite by three AAA batteries.
