Overview

This handheld salinity refractometer is used for quality control in research and clinical laboratories and the marine industry. It measures the salinity concentration in the range of 2% to 4% (20-40ppt) and specific gravity from 1.015 to 1.030 with +/-001 accuracy. The refractometer allows for the instant reading of salt content of water or other dissolved solids. It is equipped with automatic temperature compensation of 10°C to 30°C which automatically adjusts to correct temperature discrepancies during use.
