Overview
A seedling tray is a container/nursery used for starting and growing young plants from seeds before transplanting them to the garden or farm. It usually has multiple small cells where individual seeds are planted so that each seedling grows separately.
These trays are typically made of plastic or biodegradable material and is designed with many small cells arranged in rows. Each cell holds a small amount of soil or growing medium such as peat moss or coco peat.
The tray helps provide the right conditions for seed germination and early plant growth while keeping the seedlings organized and easy to manage. They can be used to grow vegetable seedlings like kales, tomatoes, onions, pepper, cabbage.
They provide easy transplanting because seedlings can be removed and planted without damaging roots.
Ideal for nurseries, greenhouses, and home gardens and give space saving.
