Overview
Trustworthy Grain Moisture Meter is a portable digital instrument designed to measure the moisture content of grains, seeds, and agricultural products. It is particularly suitable for coffee quality control, as well as for a wide range of cereals and seeds.
The large cap at the top forms the sample chamber. A representative quantity of grain or coffee is placed inside the chamber and compressed using the cap before measurement. This type of design provides a controlled sample condition for the sensor. Consistent filling and compression are important because the physical arrangement and density of the sample can influence readings.
The major practical advantage of the meter is its ability to provide a rapid indication of moisture content without requiring the user to take the sample to a laboratory for every routine measurement.
The exact range depends on the version and commodity calibration. A listed Trustworthy 40-type model specifies:
. 8–35% for cereal seeds . 5–25% for oil seeds
