Mud, salt and clay pack into the underside of a vehicle where you cannot see them and cannot reach them with an ordinary lance. On a matatu, a pick up, a lorry or a tractor that works off tarmac, that packed dirt holds moisture against the chassis and the brake lines, and rust starts there long before it shows on the panels. This lance is the tool that gets the water up there.

It is a long bar with the nozzles turned upward, so you push it under the vehicle from the side and let the spray do the work while you stand clear. The variable head is the useful part. You set the angle of the spray to suit the height of the vehicle and the part you are aiming at, which means the same lance works under a low saloon and under a high clearance pick up. It fits onto a high pressure washer in place of the standard lance, so there is nothing else to buy and nothing to modify.
