Overview
This is a weather monitoring system that uses an outdoor sensor to measure rainfall and temperature, transmitting that data wirelessly to an indoor display console. It is commonly used for weather monitoring, farming, gardening, and irrigation planning.
It tracks temperatures for both locations, often including humidity levels and "min/max" records for the day. Also uses internal tilting cups that tip and empty automatically once a specific amount of rain (typically 0.01 inches or 0.1 mm) is collected and displays real-time rainfall ("Now"), plus hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly totals. An outdoor rain collector measures rainfall using a tipping bucket or sensor. An outdoor temperature sensor measures the outside temperature. The sensors transmit data wirelessly to an indoor digital display.
