Overview
Fifteen metres of cable to get mains power to the place the socket is not. That is a drill on the far side of a compound, a grinder at the back of a workshop, a pump at the edge of a shamba, or a light and a fan in a duka where the wiring stopped short.
The rating is what matters when you choose one. This cord is made for 220V at 10 amps, which covers the ordinary run of hand tools, pumps, lights and office equipment. The conductors are 2mm, and heavier conductors are what stop a long lead from warming up and losing voltage on the way to the tool. At 0.8kg it coils over a shoulder and goes wherever the work is, then comes back on the hook at the end of the day rather than staying stretched across a floor.

Questions and answers
What can I run on it?
Loads within 220V at 10 amps, which covers most hand tools, small pumps, lights and office equipment. Check the rating plate on the tool before you plug in.
Does it have an earth?
No. It is a two core cord with live and neutral only. Use a three core lead for any tool that depends on an earth connection.
How do I order and receive it?
Place your order online and we will call you to confirm the item, the price and the delivery. You can collect it from our shop on Moi Avenue in Nairobi CBD or we can send it by courier.
