18V Cordless Backpack Sprayer, 12L Tank, 5 Bar

A battery sprayer takes the pumping out of spraying. With a hand sprayer you spend as much effort on the lever as on the nozzle, and the pressure drops away between strokes so the spray pattern keeps changing. A motorised unit holds steady pressure from the first leaf to the last, which is what gives even coverage on a crop, a lawn or a compound.

The 12 litre tank is a comfortable load for a person to walk with all morning. It is translucent, so you can see the level from outside without unscrewing the lid and losing your place in the row. Two modes give you 1 060 or 1 200 millilitres a minute at 3.5 or 5 bar, so you can drop the pressure for a fine mist on foliage or raise it for reach and penetration. The lance is telescopic with an adjustable spray angle, which lets you reach under leaves or along a hedge base without bending, and a slide lock holds the trigger on for continuous spraying. Padded straps and a waistband take the weight off your shoulders.
