1500W Portable Power Station, Fast Charging

A portable power station is a battery, an inverter and a set of sockets in one carryable box. You charge it when power is available and it gives that power back later as ordinary household electricity. For a home during an outage, a duka that has to keep a fridge and a till running, a site office, or an event away from any supply, it does what a generator does without the fuel, the fumes or the noise.

Fifteen hundred watts is a substantial household rating. It is the class of unit that runs lights, a television, a router, fans, phone and laptop charging, and a fridge, with room for a kettle or a microwave for short periods. As with any battery system, the wattage tells you what you can run at one time, not how long for. How long depends on the stored energy and on what you are drawing. Fast charging matters in practice because the useful window for refilling a power station is often the short period when the mains happens to be on.
