This refractometer is used for measuring salt concentration of liquids in the range of 0% to 28%. It is used when necessary to maintain the salinity levels of aquariums and to measure salt solutions of low concentration. It has an inbuilt automatic temperature compensation (ATC) of 10°C to 30°C.
