Overview
A thin disc for cutting stainless steel and mild steel on a 115mm angle grinder. At 1.0mm it slices rather than grinds its way through, which means less heat in the work, a narrower kerf, and far less effort on the machine.
Thin discs matter more on stainless than on anything else. Stainless holds heat at the cut, and a thick disc dragging through it turns the edge blue and damages the corrosion resistance right where you have just cut. A 1.0mm disc is through before that happens. The 2-in-1 grind means the disc will also clean up an edge or a weld with the side of the wheel, so you are not stopping to change to a grinding disc for a light dressing job. The 22.2mm bore is the standard fitting for a 115mm grinder.

Will it cut mild steel as well?
Yes. It is made for stainless steel, where a cool cut matters most, and it cuts mild steel and section just as well.
Why use a 1.0mm disc?
It cuts faster with less heat and a narrower kerf. On stainless that keeps the cut edge from burning and losing its corrosion resistance.
