Overview
This is a handheld refractometer that is twice as accurate as the 0%-32% models. It has three scales that are used to measure sugar content and concentration in degrees Oechsle (Oe) 0~190°, °KMW (Babo): 0~38° and Brix 0~44%. It has automatic temperature compensation (ATC) in the range of 10°C - 30°C. It is very easy and quick to calibrate the unit and it is done by placing 2-3 drops of distilled water on the top of the prism block. You then point the refractometer in the direction of a natural light source and look into the eyepiece. You will see us a circular box with divisions through the center. If necessary adjust with a mini screwdriver to the zero line of the scale.
