18V Li-ion Battery and Charger Pack, 2 x 4 000mAh, 80 Minute Charge

Two of the large packs with a charger. This is the set for someone running cordless tools all day: a grinder, a circular saw, a blower or a reciprocating saw, where the smaller batteries are flat before the job is.

Four thousand milliamp hours each means long run time, and 80 minutes on charge means the second pack is ready before the first one is empty on most work. Both fit the whole Ryobi Universal Power Platform range, so they serve every tool on the system. The charger shows the charging status on an LED and the batteries carry deep discharge protection to stop the cells being drained past recovery. Buying the packs and the charger together also costs less than adding them one at a time later, and it means both batteries are the same age and the same capacity.
