Overview
Two 3 000mAh packs and a charger in one box. This is the set that keeps a cordless tool working through a full day: one battery on the tool, one on the charger, and no stopping to wait.
Three thousand milliamp hours is the size that makes cordless grinders, saws and blowers practical rather than frustrating. Both packs fit the whole Ryobi Universal Power Platform range, so they move between every tool you own on the system. The charger shows charging status on an LED, and the batteries have deep discharge protection to stop the cells being run down past recovery. For many people this is the sensible first purchase on the platform. It costs less than a full tool kit and leaves you free to buy bare tools from then on, and a bare tool with two packs already on the shelf is a far cheaper way to add a drill or a saw.
