Overview
A larger pack for the tools that drink power. On a cordless grinder, a circular saw, a blower or a reciprocating saw, 4 000mAh is the difference between finishing a job and stopping halfway to charge.
The LED gauge on the pack tells you how much is left before you climb a ladder or walk out to the far end of a shamba, which is more useful than it sounds. Deep discharge protection stops the cells being pulled below the level they recover from. The pack fits the whole Ryobi Universal Power Platform, so it works on the drill, the driver, the saws, the grinder and the garden range, and it charges in 120 minutes on the XPP-2700. It is also the largest pack that still balances reasonably on a compact drill, which is why many people settle on this size.

Questions and answers
How long does it take to charge?
About 120 minutes on the XPP-2700. The dual port XPP-4200 charges it faster.
What is the LED gauge for?
It shows how much charge is left in the pack before you start a job, so you are not caught out halfway.
How do I order and receive it?
