Overview
A replacement or spare charger for the 18V platform. A charger is the part that gets left behind on a site or borrowed and not returned, and a tool with no charger is a paperweight.
It charges the whole Ryobi Universal Power Platform range of packs, so it works with whatever batteries you already have. An XB-1500 takes 45 minutes and an XB-3000 takes 90 minutes. The LED shows the charging status, so a glance tells you whether the pack on the bench is ready to take to the job. At 0.46kg it travels with the tools rather than living on a shelf. It is worth keeping a charger where the tools are actually used rather than carrying one between a workshop and a house. A charger costs little next to the batteries and the tools that depend on it, and nothing stops work faster than a flat pack and a charger in the wrong building.
