200W Electric Stapler and Nailer, 16mm, 20 Shots a Minute

An electric tacker does the work a hammer and tacks does, but in one hand and without holding the fixing. Stretching and fixing ceiling board, tacking down carpet or underlay, fixing insect mesh over a window, making up a light timber frame, upholstering a chair, fixing fabric to a board, putting backing board on a cabinet. The trigger fires and the staple is home and flush, every time.

It fires both staples and nails, which is what makes it useful across more than one trade. Staples are 13.3mm wide and 8 to 16mm long, nails are 2mm wide and 15 to 16mm long, and the magazine holds up to 100 of either. The impact regulator sets how hard each shot lands, so the same tool can drive a staple flush into soft board without punching through it and still set a nail into a harder timber. That dial is the difference between a neat job and a row of staples standing proud. A safety catch and a mains on and off switch mean the tool cannot fire from a knock while you are moving the ladder. It runs at up to 20 shots a minute and comes with 100 nails and 400 staples of 14mm to start with.
