This is the larger of the two mains blower vacuums in the range, and the extra power shows in the work rate rather than in the feature list. Three thousand five hundred watts at 15 000 revolutions a minute moves 16 cubic metres of air a minute at 300 kilometres an hour, which shifts damp leaves and packed grass that a smaller machine pushes around without lifting.

It does three jobs. Blowing gathers leaves and cuttings into a heap along a path, a driveway or a wall. Suction lifts the heap. Shredding cuts it down as it enters the bag, at a ratio of 10 to 1, so ten bags of loose leaves end up as one bag of mulch that can go onto a bed or into a compost pit. The change between blowing and vacuuming is a lever rather than a rebuild, which matters when you are working around a compound and switching every few minutes. The bag holds 40 litres. Roller wheels take the weight along the ground while you work and make it easier to move between areas, and the shoulder strap spreads what is left across your body. Variable speed control lets you drop the power for a flower bed where full speed would strip the mulch off the soil.
