36V Brushless Scissor Mower, 440mm Cutting Path

This is the larger cordless mower in the range. Moving from 18V to 36V gives more power at the blade, and moving from a 330mm to a 440mm cutting path means a great deal less walking on the same lawn. It is the machine for someone who wants to be free of a cable and a petrol engine but has more grass than a small cordless mower can reasonably handle.

Brushless motors matter more on battery machines than anywhere else. With no carbon brushes rubbing inside, less of the battery's energy is wasted as heat and friction, so the same charge cuts more grass and the motor itself lasts longer. The 440mm cutting path is close to what a mid sized petrol mower covers, so the number of passes across a lawn drops accordingly. On a cordless machine, a wider deck also means the battery does more work per pass, so the size and number of packs you own is what really decides how much you get done in one session.
