36V Cordless Blower Vacuum, 245km/h

A 36V machine that both blows and vacuums, for a compound or a garden big enough that a small 18V blower is not equal to it. Two hundred and forty five kilometres an hour is a serious air speed: it lifts leaves that have been rained on and shifts cuttings that have packed down on paving.

The pattern of work is blow first, then vacuum. You walk the leaves into a heap along a wall or a hedge with the blower, switch to vacuum, and collect the heap instead of chasing it with a rake and a sack. Thirty six volts means more air than the 18V machines, and being cordless means no cable trailing across a wet lawn and no engine to start for a job that takes twenty minutes. Collecting the leaves rather than blowing them onto the next plot is also the difference between finishing a job and moving it somewhere else. Once the machine has picked them up they go straight on the compost heap.
