Overview

An entry level mains impact drill for the jobs that come up around a house, a shop or a farm building: fixing brackets to a block wall, putting up shelves, drilling timber and light steel.

The chuck is keyless, so bits change by hand without hunting for a key. The trigger is variable speed, which matters more than it sounds: you start a hole slowly so the bit does not walk, then squeeze for full speed. Reverse backs a jammed bit out instead of forcing it.

What can it drill into?
Concrete up to 10mm, wood up to 20mm and steel up to 8mm. Switch to impact mode for concrete and block, and switch it off for wood and steel.
Does it come with a chuck key?
No, and it does not need one. The chuck is keyless, so you tighten it by hand.
