Overview
Five thousand two hundred watts is the size people move up to when a 3kW unit keeps tripping. A hybrid inverter does three jobs at once. Run time is a battery question. Sizing the two together is the whole job, and getting the battery bank wrong is the usual reason a good inverter disappoints.

It is sized at 5200W, which covers a typical household load. What you can run at once depends on the total wattage, and how long depends on the battery bank.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. The inverter converts and manages power but stores none. A battery bank sized to your loads is needed for backup.
