Overview
This is a set of one thermometer and three spiritometers that are used for measuring alcohol content of different types of alcohol. Each one of the four devices measures in a different range i.e. from 0° to 40°, from 40° to 70° and from 70° to 100°. The thermometer measures in a range from 0°C to 50°C. This spiritometers and thermometer are very precise and accurate in their measurements and they also have clear and easy to read scales.
The procedure for using this set is:
Key features
Pour the alcohol into a graduated cylinder with a capacity of 250 ml being careful not to overflow. Then place the thermometer and spiritometer upside down, vertically in the cylinder and wait a little.
The spiritometers and thermometer must be cleaned and dried before use.
The graduated cylinder should also be cleaned to avoid giving false readings. This set comes in a wooden box that helps to preserve them and keep them from damage and dust. The complete sets includes:
