Overview
A breaking hammer for taking out concrete, opening a wall, lifting floor tiles and screed, and cutting chases too big for a chaser. It does not drill. All the energy goes into the chisel, which is why it removes material a rotary hammer only chips at.
Twelve joules on an SDS-Max shank puts this in the middle of the breaking range: heavy enough for a floor screed, a partition wall, tile beds and plaster, light enough that one person can work with it above waist height without being finished in ten minutes. The impact rate is 3 750 blows a minute. The auxiliary handle turns through 360 degrees so you can set it for whatever position the work forces on you, and it weighs 7.2kg, which is a weight that helps the tool rather than fighting you. It comes with an 18 x 280mm point chisel, an 18 x 280mm flat chisel and a spanner.

Questions and answers
Can it drill holes?
No. It is a breaker only, with no rotation. For drilling into concrete you need a rotary hammer, which we stock in SDS-Plus and SDS-Max.
What chisels does it take?
SDS-Max chisels. It comes with an 18 x 280mm point chisel and an 18 x 280mm flat chisel. SDS-Plus accessories do not fit.
