1200W Hand Planer, 110mm Width, 14mm Rebate, Bench Top

A 110mm planing width puts this above the ordinary 82mm hand planer. It covers a wider board in one pass, which matters on door edges, shelving, worktops and anywhere a narrower planer would leave a ridge down the middle where two passes meet. The extra width and the 1200 Watt motor make it a workshop tool rather than a light fitting tool.

The support bracket is what sets this model apart. Turn the planer over, fit it into the bracket and it becomes a small bench top planer with the cutter facing upward, so you feed the work to the tool instead of carrying the tool along the work. For repeat pieces, short lengths and battens that are awkward to clamp, that is a considerably safer and more accurate way to work. Cutting depth adjusts up to 35mm and the rebate depth reaches 14mm, which is deep enough for door frames and window rebates. The base plate is aluminium and there is a dust extraction port.
