1500W Jointer Planer, 204mm Width, 5 to 120mm Range

This is two machines in one frame. As a jointer it flattens a face and squares an edge on rough sawn timber. As a thicknesser it takes that flat face as a reference and brings the board to an even thickness right along its length. For a small joinery workshop, having both in one machine saves the floor space and the money that two separate machines would take.

Switching between the two functions takes seconds rather than a rebuild, which matters because the normal way you work timber is to flatten a face, square an edge, then thickness it, and a machine that is slow to change encourages people to skip a step. The 1500 Watt motor runs at 9 000rpm and takes material up to 204mm wide, in a cutting range from 5mm to 120mm, with a feed speed of 6 metres a minute. The jointer table measures 946 by 263mm and the planer table 270 by 303mm. An overload switch and a circuit breaker protect the motor when a heavy cut loads it.
