1500W Slide Table Saw, 254mm Blade, 4500rpm, Router Fence

A sliding carriage is what separates this from an ordinary table saw. Instead of pushing a panel across a fixed table and hoping it stays against the fence, the panel sits on a carriage that runs with it. That gives square cross cuts on wide boards and clean cuts in chipboard, MDF and ply, which is the work that fills a shopfitting or furniture workshop.

The 1 500 Watt motor drives a 254mm blade at 4 500 revolutions a minute. The carriage can be mounted on the right or the left, so the machine can be set up to suit how your shop is laid out and how you feed stock. Side extensions lock at any position, which is how you support a full sheet rather than having it tip off the back. A router fence system is built in, so the same machine cuts grooves and mouldings, and there are dust extraction ports on both the router fence and the rear of the saw table. An electromagnetic switch and an overload switch protect the operator and the motor. A mitre gauge, a straight fence and a push stick come with it.
