This is the bandsaw for a workshop that cuts shapes regularly rather than occasionally. Furniture parts, curved rails, brackets, templates, toys, signs and the waste out of joints all come off a bandsaw faster and more accurately than off a jigsaw, and the cut needs less cleaning up afterwards. It will also resaw, meaning splitting a board through its thickness, which a circular saw cannot do safely.

The 350 Watt motor drives a 1 575 by 6.35 by 0.3mm blade at 11.6 metres a second, and gives a maximum cutting width of 230mm and a depth of 80mm. The quick lock system is what you will use most often, because blade tension has to come off when the saw is not in use, or the blade and the tyres take a set, and a system that makes that a few seconds of work is a system that actually gets used. The table tilts from 0 to 45 degrees for bevels and a mitre gauge sets repeat angles. An electromagnetic switch means it does not start itself when power returns.
