1700W Rotary Hammer, 27 Joules, SDS-Max, 950-1900bpm

A heavy rotary hammer that also works as a breaker. Twenty seven joules on an SDS-Max shank puts it well above the SDS-plus machines: this is the tool for large diameter holes through concrete walls and slabs, for setting heavy anchors, and for breaking out sections of concrete and masonry.

Three modes cover the work. Rotary hammer drilling for holes, hammering only for breaking, and chiselling with the chisel held at a set angle. The auxiliary handle is a D-shaped 360 degree type, with a three position straight handle as well, so the machine can be set up for drilling down into a slab or horizontally into a wall. An anti-vibration system and soft grip reduce what comes back into your arms, which on a 12kg machine matters within minutes rather than hours. A lock-on button holds it running for continuous breaking. It comes in a storage case with three 320mm drill bits in 16, 18 and 22mm, a 25 x 350mm flat chisel, a 25 x 350mm bull point, a dust protection cap, grease and spare carbon brushes.
