Overview
A cordless impact drill with a hammer action, so it drills into block and light masonry as well as timber and steel. It is the tool for a fundi working through a building where there is no supply yet, or for anyone who is tired of running an extension cable to every room.
Two figures matter here. Sixty newton metres of torque is a serious number for a cordless drill and covers large bits in timber, long screws into hardwood and drilling steel. Brushless is the other one. A brushless motor has no carbon brushes to wear out and replace, it runs cooler, and more of the charge in the battery goes into the work instead of into heat, which shows up as longer run time from the same battery. The 13mm chuck takes the full range of bits. Between the impact action and the torque this is close to what a corded impact drill does, without the cable.
