1800W Electric Lawnmower, 420mm Cut, 40L Catcher

This is the largest of the corded mowers in the range and it suits a lawn that is too big for a 380mm machine but where running a petrol engine is more trouble than it is worth. A 420mm cutting path takes a useful bite out of a big compound lawn, and the motor has the power to keep the blade turning through grass that has grown a little long.

The 1800 Watt motor runs at 3 450rpm. Height adjusts through five positions between 25 and 80mm with one central handle, so all the wheels move together. The 80mm top setting is higher than most mowers offer and is genuinely useful here, because it lets you top long grass in the first pass without the deck riding up or the motor stalling, then drop down for a second pass. The 40 litre catcher collects the clippings. A safety switch prevents accidental starting, a cable guide holds the lead clear of the blade, and the handles and wheels make it easy to move and store.
