Overview

Two machines on one set of legs. Flipped one way it is a mitre saw for cutting timber to length and cutting angles. Flipped the other it is a table saw with an aluminium top for ripping board and sheet. For a site carpenter or a small joinery shop that cannot give floor space to both, that is the whole argument, and the changeover takes seconds rather than a rebuild.

The 1 800 Watt motor drives a 255mm blade at 4 200 revolutions a minute for both jobs. As a mitre saw it cuts 65 x 155mm square and 65 x 105mm at 45 degrees, which covers framing timber, rafters, battens and architrave. As a table saw it cuts 70mm deep at 90 degrees, which takes a 50mm timber or a stack of board in one pass. The working top is machined aluminium and large enough to support a sheet while you push it through. The legs fold and there are wheels on one end, so a 42kg machine can be tipped and wheeled to a vehicle by one person rather than carried. An emergency stop button sits where you can hit it with a hand or a knee.
